The world is almost entirely digital. We have come a long way from very basic technology including the cotton gin to the Jacquard Loom all the way to the first computers. Today, there is an infinite amount of digital devices including smartphones, laptops, tablets, smart watches, game consoles, and virtual reality headsets. Almost everyone has a least one of these devices to day that helps connect the world around us and they can help us gain access to the incredible digital world. The various technological advancements have implemented artificial intelligence that makes things look so real. These areas include pictures, videos and music.
AI can create realistic-looking images of everyday things and people. Though they might not look perfect, currently there is certainly some room for improvement. The image to the right was created using Sora which is ai image generating on the ChaptGPT platform. The prompt “Trump drinking Starbucks” was entered and this was the amazing result!
AI music has become a regular thing that people create and enjoy. This is an example on the right side of two of the biggest artists in the world of Canadian born artists Drake and The Weeknd with a song called Heart of My Sleeve. This song was submitted to the Grammys but got rejected because it was found to have been created by AI instead of the real artists.
